Emma Pears BA (Hons) MPhil (CANTAB) QTS

Emma is the founding director of SingingNation.

Emma’s work is regularly performed and she is in much demand as a musical director, performer and choir leader. Emma is not only a music graduate and qualified teacher but also has an MPhil in Educational Research from Cambridge University.

Emma has performed and conducted in premiere venues across the world including Russia, USA, Italy, Norway, Malta, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Czech Republic, Canada, Belgium, UK & Ireland.

As a songwriter, Emma enjoys writing with and for other artists. She writes with emerging talent as well as artists signed with Universal, Warner and EMI.

Emma is passionate about drawing the best out of people. She is a firm believer in Growth Mindset and loves to help people explore new skills and ways of thinking. As an experienced and qualified teacher, Emma enjoys writing bespoke sessions and programmes to support the learning taking place in the workplace.

Lucinda Allen

Lucinda Allen BA PGCE MA

Lucinda is a proficient and successful Voice & Singing consultant, coaching and researching alongside Physio Ed Clinic, Harley Street.

Since completing a Masters with Distinction in ‘The Practice of Voice and Singing’ from one of the UK’s most reputable Acting schools, Lucinda has provided services for university programs and corporate organisations such as the NHS, Hardwick’s Solicitors, Oxford Brookes University, Westminster University, South bank University & The University of Surrey.

Lucinda’s love for theatre fuelled an interest in the mechanics of both singing and the spoken voice, which led her to specialise in this area further. 

Lucinda is one of 5 graduates from Guildford School of Acting. She is qualified to teach both disciplines in many fields ranging from:

– Public Speakers

– Actors

– Singers

– Musical theatre Performers

– Charity workers
 & other Corporate sectors workers.

Her passion for music began with her classical training and touring with The Oxford Girls Choir. Her professional training continued at Leeds College of Music where she specialised in the singing voice, within the Popular Music & Musical Theatre idioms.

Lucinda is a strong believer that every person has the right to a free and dynamic voice, and is keen to facilitate this through her in depth knowledge and talent in teaching.

Known for her energetic and inclusive approach, she continues to spearhead new collaborative projects and choirs, and has worked with organisations such as the English National Opera, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Trinity Laban, Spitalfields Music, Wigmore Hall, and more…

Louise Fellingham

Louise Fellingham has been singing professionally since leaving college at 18 years old. Her extensive experience of being on the stage has taught her how effective singing can be in communicating ideas. Louise regularly teaches both one on one and in a masterclass setting. She has worked with countless different vocal ensembles and loves to see people digging into all their potential as they take hold of who they were made to be.

Jenny Wolny

Rob Webb

Robb is a multi-instrumentalist songwriter, arranger, producer and musical director.
Robb began his musical studies aged just three and went on to become proficient in more than ten disciplines including keyboards, guitar, drums and a variety of wind instruments. In effect, a one-man-band!
Robbie studied Acoustics and Sound Recording at Salford University and has since managed to combine the technical side of music production with his love of performance. He has worked in a wide range of musical settings – as musical director for artist tours across the UK and internationally; as producer/arranger for Gospel albums for Integrity Music and as songwriter/arranger for Jazz/Funk/Soul original artists for Sony Music.
In addition, meeting Dudley Moore in his early teens and hearing him perform ignited a love affair with jazz and Robbie has performed in many historic venues across London in various jazz ensembles.
Meanwhile, his own band, The Superlatives, continue to perform at prestigious functions and events internationally.

Philly Lopez

Philly works both as a session singer as well as a vocal coach and
conductor.

Some of the highlights of Philly’s Live session work includes
Appearing with Stevie wonder at Glastonbury and UK tour, Singing with
Take That, George Michael, Elbow and Muse at the Olympics Closing
Ceremony and most recently a London residency with Matt Goss.

Having studied classical singing, And in Musical theatre, Philly is
routed in technique but passionate about fusing technique and raw
expression into contemporary singing. As well as teaching privately
Philly has been head of vocals at Nexus Music Collage, resident lecturer
in vocals at Oxford Brookes University and most recently vocal coach on
‘The Voice’. Philly Is a specialist Gospel choir conductor and has
worked with many choirs across the UK, ranging from small community
choirs and workshops, schools and university’s to 100 person gospel
choir singing in Selfridges in London.

Ems Hancock

Based in Manchester, Ems is married to Jon who runs his own Children’s TV Media company and together they have four lovely children.
Ems began singing as a small child and did her first gig as a young teenager. One evening she was talent-spotted by a music agent and went on to work for various companies, recording voice-overs and stings for Radio and TV adverts. Whilst at school she was the youngest member of the Liverpool Welsh Choral Union, which then had 140 members, performing classical repertoire at the Philharmonic Hall. At the age of 16 she was chosen to sing in a concert at the Royal Albert Hall, which led to her taking the solo lead. At University, where she trained as a teacher, she branched into Jazz singing and has been lead singer or backing singer in many different bands and musical events since.

Ems loves leading people in song. She believes that everyone’s voice tells a story and that singing can help people connect with and begin to heal from deep confusions and insecurities.

Ems has been a session singer for various artists and has recorded a number of live events, including an album. She specialises in writing spontaneous music alongside other accomplished musicians.

Ems has worked as a teacher and trainer for various different companies for many years. She is a regular speaker at large conferences and events in the UK and the author of three self-help books.
